Develop relationships and joining networks with authorities and partners to improve PLWHA screening and care.

Training SISAL personnel:

Organise necessary trainings for the central officers and the field staff.

Visits of prostituted and their clients : every week a facilitator staff performs two night visits by car in the peak neighbourhoods and in front of night clubs to meet the street sexual workers and their clients.  

IEC session at the health center: All the patients coming for consultation at the health center are benefiting an IEC session. Normally, two sessions are being organized: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Through 2010,

• Reduction of the prevalence of AIDS/HIV IST on the vulnerable populations living in the Sisal programs intervention areas
• Increase of sound attitudes with regards to IST/HIV/AIDS among the highly vulnerable populations (prostituted, homosexuals…..).
• Decrease of the exclusion and increase of number of infected malagasy people been taken in charge (PLWHA)

The SISAL association is present in two provinces in Madagascar (Antananarivo and Toliary) and is working on four projects supported by two offices employing 26 persons.
